For ten years, the Proseal GT traysealer series was the standard. The XT series succeeds the GT series. It is based on the proven performance of the GT traysealer series, but it is faster, smarter and more consistent than its predecessor. Curious what has been improved? Read on.
Higher seal capacity
The XT series runs more cycles per minute than the GT and works with ProMotion+, the latest technology for positioning trays. It corrects deviations automatically, so the machine keeps working stably even with less optimal infeed. The machine now also has a flat belt outfeed as standard, so trays move less and stay well aligned. This delivers more throughput, within the same footprint as the GT.
Easier maintenance
The XT2 has an accessible and efficient design. With a frameless stainless steel construction and full height doors, you get better access to the seal station, for quick and effective maintenance. In addition, the open frame conveyor belts are designed for easy belt changes and fast cleaning.
Simpler operation for operators
Operation runs via a larger, 15 inch touchscreen with swipe control, similar to what you are used to on a tablet. New operators are trained faster, and the most used functions are quickly accessible. Also new are the built in instruction videos on the screen, so operators and engineers can train on the spot without separate manuals.
Improved hygienic design
The stainless steel finish is bead blasted, which gives a cleaner surface than a polished finish. The open frame with drum motors has no hidden corners where dirt can collect. Together with the fully openable seal station, this makes the XT series easy to clean and highly suitable for high care environments.
Automatic tool detection
IntelliTool recognises which tooling is fitted and applies the right settings automatically, without an operator having to do this by hand. This reduces the risk of incorrectly set tooling and saves changeover time.
Lower energy consumption
All servo motors share one energy system. What one part of the machine does not need goes to the part that does need it. This lowers total energy consumption and costs.
Compatible with existing GT tooling
The XT series works with the tooling you already have from your GT machines. Switching over is therefore smooth, without needing to invest in new tooling.
